I have since been told that the egg itself is not the largest cell but yolk is. So I guess it is more correct to say that the ostrich egg contains the world's largest cell. Either way it is really cool.
ReplyDeleteIn addition to it being the largest cell, apparently it is the smallest bird egg relative to it's mother's size.
